On August 13, 2021, an online meeting “8 new markets. Business opportunities”
The meeting was attended by: Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture - Taras Kachka; President of the Exporters' Club of Ukraine Yevhen Lytvynov; Vitaliy Boyko - Malaysia's sales representative in Ukraine; Emma Turos - Executive Director of the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry; heads of the Foreign Trade Bureau in Kyiv and JSC Polish Agency for Investment and Trade; President of the Swedish Business Association in Ukraine; Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Sao Paulo, Vice President of the Brazilian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; representatives of the Confederation of Indian Industry; Australian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and others.
The moderator of the meeting was Olga Trofimtseva, acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine in 2019.
Speakers spoke about the peculiarities of entering new markets and pitfalls along the way. In particular:
• on instruments for regulating international trade in Ukraine;
• rules of cooperation with foreign partners;
• launch and development of export sales in B2B;
• the benefits of using online tools to enter new markets.
The speaker was Andrii Mashchenko, Director of the MBLS law firm, who told the participants about the legal aspects of export and import regulation. In particular, the procedure for concluding and mandatory conditions of contracts of international purchase and sale of goods, the possibility of using electronic document management in foreign economic activity, problems arising in Ukraine for importers and ways to resolve such problems, the procedure for resolving disputes between parties of the contract, some others aspects.
