Meeting of business representatives with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the People's Republic of China, Mr. Kamyshev was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine on January 24, 2020.
China is becoming Ukraine's main trading partner, both in terms of exports and imports, so the conversation between the Ukrainian business and the ambassador was very topical. Representatives of Ukrainian trade and manufacturing companies expressed to ambassador their wishes for improving diplomatic protection of their interests, securing their entry and presence on the Chinese market. The entrepreneurs also spoke about the difficulties encountered in customs clearance of goods. Wishes to improve aviation between countries were expressed too.
Andrii Mashchenko, Director of MBLS Law Firm, expressed to the Ambassador the wish to expand the geography of the existing Consular Departments of the Embassy in the PRC regions for the purpose of convenient communication of Ukrainian citizens, in particular entrepreneurs, with the Embassy, and providing the Embassy with quick response in case of difficulties in their territory of China.
Mr. Komyshev was appointed to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the People's Republic of China by decree of the President of Ukraine No. 912/2019 dated December 18, 2019.
