From August 31 to September 2, 2021, the traditional exhibition Trans Expo Odessa was held in the building of the Odessa Sea Terminal, which provided space for companies of the maritime industry: such as carriers; forwarders; other related organizations to present their products and services.

Within the framework of the exhibition, an international conference was held: “Development of the transport system of Ukraine: challenges and prospects. Ports and Multimodal Transportation”. The conference participants discussed the transport strategy of Ukraine - 2030.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the Transport Committee of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine, representatives of foreign and Ukrainian companies.

In addition to the transport strategy of Ukraine, the conference participants discussed the development of transport corridors, in particular the corridor from Baltic Sea to Black Sea, the possibilities of developing multimodal transport in Ukraine and the creation of logistics hubs, the possibilities of container trains, privatization and concessions of Ukrainian ports.

Representatives of the Dutch Embassy in Ukraine and Dutch companies shared their experience in managing inland waterways, a representative of the port of Gdansk (Poland) spoke about the organization of the port's work and the technologies they use, interested companies made presentations of the latest technical solutions in the field of port infrastructure; vessel traffic management, cargo tracking etc.

The conference was attended by the director of the MBLS law firm Mr. Andrii Mashchenko.
